vdex vocabs need descriptions

At present, our vdex Vocabularies don't have descriptions. These are needed to fully flesh out the great help views of the thesauri, which were added by sgillies for milestone:"Vocabulary Management"

Most of the vocabularies currently in use actually do have at least English-language descriptions for all terms. Those that lack them (or don't have all the terms described) as of 23 March 2007 are:

Need to review the old atlas instructions for compilers, as well as the introduction to the atlas, to see what can be gleaned from there as the basis for the descriptions.

All vocabs now have descriptions in English except for place-types. That one needs rationalizing and other work, for which there are open tickets. This is all good for this milestone, so closing.
