The Pleiades Community
The Pleiades project invites scholars, students and other interested members of the community to join us in using, creating and sharing historical geographic information about the Greek and Roman World. There is an overview of the project, if you've arrived directly at this page without any context.
You can start using Pleiades data just by visiting our places page and then browsing or searching from there. For an overview of data currently in Pleiades (and our plans for expanding it), please see PleiadesContent.
To get involved in creating, modifying and sharing data, please send an email to pleiades.admin@nyu.edu requesting a Pleiades username and password. Be sure to include your full name, a valid email address, any institutional affiliation and a brief statement as to your reasons for wanting to join our community. Please note that requesting and using a Pleiades account constitutes your agreement to all terms of the PleiadesContributorAgreement. To interact with other Pleiades Community members, please see our PleiadesCommunityInteraction page. Our fledgling support pages are to be found at CommunitySupport.
To find out more about the folks who are building Pleiades and editing its content, please see: ProjectTeam.
