Pleiades Content: Digitization Status
The Pleiades web application manages information about ancient locations, placenames, features and places. If you're interested in the details, you can read more about our DataModel, or you can see it in action via the places page.
We are in the process of populating Pleiades with data drawn from the compilation materials of the Classical Atlas Project (which formed the basis for the Barrington Atlas = BAtlas). Once the data is added, it can be modified, enhanced or corrected by members of the PleiadesCommunity. The following summary indicates the current state of accession of this legacy material.
