Suggestion Group

SuggestionGroups? provide a ready mechanism for aggregating a number of interrelated Suggestions together, for example: the addition of three bibliographic references and the addition of a geographic record (with associated names, etc.) for a newly discovered site. Permissions, states and ownership mirror the application of same to suggestions. The following suggestion group fields are supported:
- short name
- title
- description
- authorial urgency
- peer urgency
- peer urgency history
- peer view count
- optional explanation
Although each subordinate suggestion may retain its own [[explanatory essay]], it is also permissible, and perhaps preferred, to attach an explanatory essay to the parent suggestion group to provide a complete overview and discussion of the related family of record changes.
Suggestion groups may be created before their subordinate suggestions, or several existing suggestions may be selected and aggregated to form a new suggestion group.
