Transliteration Schemes

PleiadesEntity now has basic support for Greek transliteration, and the code that does it may be easily generalized. See source:PleiadesEntity/trunk/Extensions/ws_transliteration.py

Note that the Duke Databank for Documentary Papyri has just launched a funded project to do a major upgrade to content and tooling. One task planned on this project is the porting to Python from Java of Hugh Cayless's transcoder. Maybe it would be a good substitution for the current mechanisms?

Questions:

• What transliteration schemes will we support?
• What mechanisms for dealing with them do we need?
