back to: ProjectDeliverables

ConcordiaThesaurus is a controlled vocabulary for expressing classes of relationships (or even assertions) between web-based resources in the context of Atom+GeoRSS feeds and intended for use especially by the ConcordiaHarvester. It is a project deliverable.

In the proposal, we said about it:

The cross-project Citation Vocabulary will enable Concordia authors to qualify and contextualize the citations in their web feeds in a manner comprehensible to the Karme indexing processes. Wherever appropriate, it will employ terms drawn from the following published vocabularies: the Scholarly Ontologies Project's ScholOnto RDF Schema (Open University), the MINDSWAP geoRelations ontology (University of Maryland) and the Pleiades project's existing thesauri for uncertainty, confidence and types of geographic names (cf. http://pleiades.stoa.org/thesaurus).
